Two suspects in a local armed robbery case are now behind bars after their arrest by Goldsboro Police.
Isiah Jarad Jacobs, 23, of Isler Street and Justin Maurice Devaughn, 24, of East Elm Street are both charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. Jacobs faces an additional charge of Resist, Delay and Obstructing. Devaughn faces two additional charges: Fleeing to Elude Arrest and Driving While License Revoked.

Authorities say they tried to stop a vehicle suspected to have been involved in an armed robbery in the 1900 block of North William Street but instead a chase ensued. The pursuit ended in the 2100 block of Church Street when the occupants of the vehicle were apprehended.
Jacobs and Devaughn were taken to the Wayne County Jail where secured bond for Jacobs was set at $1,005,000. Secured bond for Devaughn was set at $1,010,000.
