A local woman is in custody of Wayne County authorities after drug agents found heroin following a traffic stop.
Kelly Bass, 45, of Old Smithfield Road is charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin and two other related illegal drug charges.
Agents with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement team stopped Bass’ vehicle in the area of Perkins Mill Road and Rosewood Road. Susequent to the traffic stop Bass was found in possession of Heroin and drug paraphernalia.
She was taken to the Wayne County Jail where unsecured bond was set at $10,000.
